“ I stopped into big Tony's last night to get my favorite steak and cheese calzone and my service at Big Tony's is always amazing but they truly went above and beyond! Sabrina took my order, she was incredibly friendly and helpful. My calzone was perfectly made. What made my experience above average was I thought I left my new very expensive wallet behind. I frantically began calling the restaurant at 8am the next day and the owner took my call even though the restaurant didn't open until 11am. He took all my information, and reviewed the cameras for me to help track down my wallet! I have always ordered from Big Tony's but now I'll be a forever regular! “ This was my 3rd stop one night after work last week while doing the Lord of the Pies event. Funny thing is I drive by this place a few times a week and I'd stopped in here years ago and I was not impressed. Maybe I hit on a bad night I don't know, but the slice I got (Chicken Parm) was downright scrumptious. Huge NY slice and hefty. Lots of cheese and the chicken was abundant. Woman behind the counter told me on Wednesday nights they have all you can eat slices, which sounds great but ultimately I think after two I'd be done! Will have to order a whole pizza from these guys in the future ”
“ As a born and bred Rhode Island this is the quintessential spot! It has everything you could want from a comfort food standpoint. I moved out of state years back and every time I come to town I hightail it for big Tony's! Big man likes to eat big food! You can't go wrong! I spent $18 and got a calzone that was big enough to feed three people. Make sure you give yourself enough time to wait for it because everything is made to order and it is absolutely worth the wait. This year I was lucky enough to bring my daughter with me and she couldn't believe it and it's completely in love with the place. My mom got the appetizer eggplant parmesan and called two friends to tell him about it by the time we got home. It will hit every olfactory and gastro experience you are hoping for. You got to come in and try anything, you can't go wrong! PS I couldn't finish mine in the restaurant Anita could my daughter so little 9:00 p.m. nosh on the calzone was completely enjoyed once again after a little oven reheat. #themanwhoaterhodeisland ”
